I have several suggestions for finding images online of various surgical instruments:
First of all, a Google Image Search will usually work just fine but it will require you to verify that the instrument in the picture is correctly described and titled.
I would also recommend using Google's Advanced Feature to limit your search to .edu domains, and in doing so myself, I found a great resource from the University of Texas
Every Surgical Instrument also has a Patent number, and so consequently Google's Patent Search can provide you with a full description of the device's purpose as well as a detailed drawing of the tool.
Lastly, anyone who sells such instruments will probably have an online catalog as well, but again, verify that the website is legitimate before deciding to use it.
